Urbano Saturnin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cain Vieri in the 19th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Palestra14's goal looked a bit too open when Joseph Asklöv came free, but Frits Heinel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elia Di Vincenzo in the 31st minute of play forced Palestra14's goalkeeper Frits Heinel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cesare Punta might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Frits Heinel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cesare Punta ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 37thth minute of the game Joseph Asklöv who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palestra14's Frits Heinel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Attilio Penna hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. When Cain Vieri fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palestra14's protests and gave Cain Vieri a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Sao Brasola booed when Palestra14 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cain Vieri didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Sao Brasola's Cesare Punta in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Palestra14's goalie prevented a goal. The Palestra14 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sao Brasola were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Fausto Fioriti made the kick off in the second half. Frits Heinel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joseph Asklöv, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 0-3 became the score in the 57th minute when Joseph Asklöv elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 61 minutes into the game, Dennis Del Vecchio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palestra14's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sao Brasola the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 60th minute of the game. One of Palestra14:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sao Brasola:s goal. Frits Heinel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joseph Asklöv in the 67th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Sao Brasola's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Fioriti came free, but Urbano Saturnin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sao Brasola eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
