Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Loco Palermo got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Loco Palermo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Donato Balestra. Calenzano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Loco Palermo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Montesacro FC's Giacomo Casanova played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Tedeschi in the 5th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Jens-Ola Gunnarsson in the 9th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Montesacro FC's Anthony Del Gatto. In the 13th minute Alfred Olsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giacomo Casanova saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Montesacro FC's Giacomo Casanova played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Olsson in the 15th minute of play. Giacomo Casanova made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Olsson in the 20th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Montesacro FC's zone, Alfred Olsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giacomo Casanova came out of the goal and Alfred Olsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 26th minute Federico Tedeschi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giacomo Casanova saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Donato Balestra made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Paolo Rossi sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Paolo Rossi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montesacro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paolo Rossi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donato Balestra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Giacomo Casanova took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Achille Sciamanna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, Montesacro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Olsson came free, but Giacomo Casanova reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute Alfred Olsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giacomo Casanova saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Calenzano's Donato Balestra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Calenzano from getting a goal against them. Jens-Ola Gunnarsson made in the 46th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Achille Sciamanna immediately put the ball in play.

The wind increased when Alfred Olsson made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Paolo Rossi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montesacro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paolo Rossi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Calenzano's Alfred Olsson in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Montesacro FC's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Calenzano defense, Paolo Rossi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Donato Balestra. The Calenzano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Donato Balestra should have stopped the shot. Comunardo Chizzo hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arturo Di Matteo in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Giacomo Casanova saved Montesacro FC from getting behind. Donato Balestra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paolo Rossi in the 79th minute of the match. Loco Palermo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Montesacro FC's Giacomo Casanova proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Montesacro FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Calenzano's Ahmed Sinan got a free kick in the 95th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Montesacro FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Calenzano had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
