Fernando Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Voicu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Despidida AFC's attentive Oliver Rizzo managed to snatch the ball when Alonzo Egun made a throw-in in the 13th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as VILLARREAL UNITED's Valentin Voicu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fernando Selatse. That made the score 2-0 after 29 minutes of play. A sloppy throw-in by Kees Harmsen in the 33rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by VILLARREAL UNITED's Delmar Campello. VILLARREAL UNITED's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Florian Pruss in the 37th minute. 40 minutes into the game, VILLARREAL UNITED's Valentin Voicu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fernando Selatse made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valentin Voicu made a kick off. Valentin Voicu might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernando Selatse. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valentin Voicu ran back to his position shaking his head. Alvaro Raymond blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baraxil Sarrate having to make a save. Baraxil Sarrate made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alvaro Raymond in the 56th minute. Despidida AFC made a substitution. Pastor Tino replaced Kajetan Gdowik. Despidida AFC's Emiliano Velasco was substituted for Alvaro Raymond. In the 59th minute of the match, Dinu Ivănescu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Baraxil Sarrate saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Emiliano Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pastor Tino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baraxil Sarrate read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. With his leg Baraxil Sarrate managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Despidida AFC's Pastor Tino fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emiliano Velasco in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baraxil Sarrate saved VILLARREAL UNITED from getting behind. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Despidida AFC's goalkeeper Fernando Selatse, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Baraxil Sarrate showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinu Ivănescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. A collision led to VILLARREAL UNITED getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Franz Corral hit a great ball. 84 minutes into the game, Valentin Voicu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Fernando Selatse was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Baraxil Sarrate made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Emiliano Velasco sent off a good shot on target. VILLARREAL UNITED's Gert Vesterberg quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Michael Corleone, made in the 88th minute of the game. When Despidida AFC's Dinu Ivănescu in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye VILLARREAL UNITED's goalie prevented a goal. Baraxil Sarrate came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Despidida AFC's Emiliano Velasco. But to his dismay, Emiliano Velasco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. VILLARREAL UNITED's Yusuf Kaya was substituted for Valentin Voicu. Despidida AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
