Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ivan Drago kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Cachiyuyo EAS's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Francis came free, but Arnulfo Nataniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 4 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cachiyuyo EAS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Esteban Iztal was slow to take the kick. During this time ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's players had a chance to rest. The corner led ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Petrică Măcriș to fire away a dangerous shot which Arnulfo Nataniel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Elpidio Francis got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnulfo Nataniel came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Elpidio Francis. But to his dismay, Elpidio Francis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The supporters of Cachiyuyo EAS booed when ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Gabon didn't get a good kick on the ball. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Esteban Iztal in the 21st minute. After taking down the ball on ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's corner Esteban Iztal fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arnulfo Nataniel quite easily take care of the ball. Cachiyuyo EAS's Arnulfo Nataniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Cachiyuyo EAS from getting a goal against them. The ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Elpidio Francis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Elpidio Francis might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnulfo Nataniel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elpidio Francis ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Francis in the 31st minute of play forced Cachiyuyo EAS's goalkeeper Arnulfo Nataniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Petrică Măcriș managed to get in a good position for a shot. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's supporters rose to their feet, but Petrică Măcriș was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnulfo Nataniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Petrică Măcriș's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Arnulfo Nataniel firmly grabbed it by the left post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elpidio Francis to make the kick off. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cachiyuyo EAS's goalkeeper Arnulfo Nataniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA made a substitution. André Monclús replaced Elpidio Francis. After 69 played minutes Cachiyuyo EAS got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Drago. Arnulfo Nataniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Monclús, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Branislav Velchevski was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Modesto Mogel capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Modesto Mogel really showed his touch with that goal: 6-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Ivan Drago managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cachiyuyo EAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivan Drago was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Branislav Velchevski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
