Quirce Castro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Thanos Pappageorge made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Drumcode's Froilan Mino got a free kick in the 17th minute. Jurgen De Rudder kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Drumcode's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Novaes came free, but Thanos Pappageorge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanos Pappageorge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulus Van Hove in the 22nd minute of play. When the match had been going on for 25 minutes, de belletrekkers's Marten Merckx got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Thanos Pappageorge. De-la-Cruz de Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
