The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Benth Vedelsgaard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alvaro Raymond received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Richie Cagigal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Despidida AFC's Alvaro Raymond sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Richie Cagigal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 11th minute, Alvaro Raymond ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Richie Cagigal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Alvaro Raymond might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Richie Cagigal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alvaro Raymond ran back to his position shaking his head. Despidida AFC's Alvaro Raymond got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alvaro Raymond scored 0-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Richie Cagigal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arias Coz got free with Fernando Selatse in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Alvaro Raymond's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Richie Cagigal was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. After 35 minutes Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emanuel Lucila who took care of the corner kick. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Richie Cagigal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Raymond in the 43rd minute of play. In the 47th minute Alvaro Raymond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richie Cagigal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Despidida AFC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucho Aguiar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Kajetan Gdowik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emanuel Lucila made a great header on Despidida AFC's corner, it was just that Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Richie Cagigal managed to reach the ball for a save. Benth Vedelsgaard took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fernando Selatse. Despidida AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Richie Cagigal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Velasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. 95 minutes into the match, Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's goalkeeper Richie Cagigal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emiliano Velasco.
