In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Holy Cross Mountains's goalkeeper Guy Davis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Godfried Teunens managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Bichineta's supporters rose to their feet, but Godfried Teunens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guy Davis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 12 minutes into the match, La Bichineta's Godfried Teunens sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guy Davis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Holy Cross Mountains's goal looked a bit too open when Godfried Teunens came free, but Guy Davis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Godfried Teunens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Guy Davis came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by La Bichineta's Godfried Teunens. But to his dismay, Godfried Teunens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Guy Davis came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by La Bichineta's Felix Castel. But to his dismay, Felix Castel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 34th minute, Godfried Teunens made a precise shot to the right of Guy Davis. Holy Cross Mountains's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Godfried Teunens sped through Holy Cross Mountains's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Guy Davis. In the 42nd minute, Albert Booth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Felix Castel came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the La Bichineta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Castel couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godfried Teunens in the 47th minute of play forced Holy Cross Mountains's goalkeeper Guy Davis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Horea Decuseară in the 51st minute of play forced La Bichineta's goalkeeper Silvestre Peli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roque Terron during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Roque Terron hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 54th minute Dariusz Motyl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guy Davis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Holy Cross Mountains's goalkeeper Guy Davis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Godfried Teunens. Guy Davis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godfried Teunens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Holy Cross Mountains booed when La Bichineta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timoteo Izel didn't get a good kick on the ball. La Bichineta's Eliseo Iigo was substituted for Godfried Teunens. La Bichineta's Vennard Rojak was substituted for Dorival de Azevedo. Timoteo Izel hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Holy Cross Mountains's goalkeeper Guy Davis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hugon Budacz made in the 70th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Reynaldo Mede. 77 minutes into the match, Holy Cross Mountains's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Iigo came free, but Guy Davis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseo Iigo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guy Davis having to make a save. Guy Davis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Iigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guy Davis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eliseo Iigo's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Felix Castel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guy Davis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Castel, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Roque Terron got his second yellow card in the match during the 88th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Roque Terron kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Holy Cross Mountains's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Iigo came free, but Guy Davis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over La Bichineta could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Holy Cross Mountains throughout the match.
