With a left leg Santiago Nataniel saved Brown Puerto Madryn from getting behind. 8 minutes into the match, Brown Puerto Madryn's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Raymond came free, but Santiago Nataniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Billy Drake in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Brown Puerto Madryn's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Raymond came free, but Santiago Nataniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Pirro made in the 18th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gerd Treial. Alvaro Raymond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Raymond in the 22nd minute of play forced Brown Puerto Madryn's goalkeeper Santiago Nataniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvaro Raymond blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Santiago Nataniel having to make a save. Alvaro Raymond might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Santiago Nataniel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alvaro Raymond ran back to his position shaking his head. Santiago Nataniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Raymond, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. If Kajetan Gdowik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse got control of the ball when Rodrigo De Paul tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gerd Treial received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Fernando Selatse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Brown Puerto Madryn's Rodrigo De Paul got a free kick in the 38th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Billy Drake stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Despidida AFC's Alvaro Raymond ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Santiago Nataniel. Emiliano Velasco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Santiago Nataniel made a huge save. In the 88th minute Dinu Ivănescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Nataniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santiago Nataniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinu Ivănescu in the 90th minute of play.
