Bill Nietlispach took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mauricio Naldo. San Lorenzo fc's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Teodoro Veremundo kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Dong Cheng Si managed to get in a good position for a shot. ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's supporters rose to their feet, but Dong Cheng Si was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauricio Naldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rd minute, Dong Cheng Si left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabio Tancredo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eurico Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Naldo having to interfere. In the 81st match minute, San Lorenzo fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Sanches to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in San Lorenzo fc's zone, Dong Cheng Si stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauricio Naldo came out of the goal and Dong Cheng Si tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 85 minutes, Saverio Raphael mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the San Lorenzo fc and the ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ booed when San Lorenzo fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saverio Raphael didn't get a good kick on the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dong Cheng Si couldn't finish the play. The San Lorenzo fc fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
