The supporters of Marlin FC booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Artaldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Iglesias came free, but Pankracy Glogowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute, Ismael Iglesias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pankracy Glogowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Juan Carlos Alvarez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Jaizki in the 13th minute of play. The supporters of Marlin FC booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Goicoechea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marlin FC were furious when Fermin Arixo was red carded, 17 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After having played for 18 minutes, Ciro Ferdinand managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Atlanta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciro Ferdinand was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Giovanni Rana's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pankracy Glogowski firmly grabbed it by the left post. After taking down the ball on Marlin FC's corner Ismael Iglesias fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pankracy Glogowski quite easily take care of the ball. Juan Carlos Alvarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Goicoechea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juan Carlos Alvarez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Goicoechea in the 27th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfonso Goicoechea in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Carlos Alvarez saved Marlin FC from getting behind. In the 36th minute, Remigio Erramu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A sloppy throw-in by Paolo Caradaro in the 44th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Marlin FC's Dionisio Panpili. Juan Carlos Alvarez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Jaizki in the 48th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dionisio Panpili to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Club Atlético Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Artaldo to maneuver through the defense. Dionisio Panpili struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Pankracy Glogowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marlin FC. Paolo Caradaro came free with the goalkeeper in the 83rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Juan Carlos Alvarez could save by the left post.
