I.'s Alirio Ducoing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Pacholewski in the 18th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Q. T. I.'s goal looked a bit too open when Adam Pacholewski came free, but Alirio Ducoing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian Obuchowicz made in the 20th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Kajetan Kochniarczyk immediately put the ball in play. The crowd rose to their feet as Q. T. I.'s Anibal Lluques slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mikolaj Jerzyk. That made the score 1-0 after 38 minutes of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thomas Vollmar to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Alirio Ducoing managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Newcastle United's Adam Pacholewski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. I. fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Q. T. I.'s Anibal Lluques looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Anibal Lluques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikolaj Jerzyk having to interfere. Julian Obuchowicz made in the 88th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Kajetan Kochniarczyk immediately put the ball in play. 93 minutes into the match, Q. T. I.'s Anibal Lluques sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mikolaj Jerzyk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 94th minute Adam Pacholewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alirio Ducoing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Q. T. I.'s attentive Wilfredo Uxio managed to snatch the ball when Julian Obuchowicz made a throw-in in the 96th minute of the game. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Q. T. I. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Newcastle United had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
