Mauricio Naldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luke Toussain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luciano Victoro in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mauricio Naldo saved San Lorenzo fc from getting behind. If Fabio Tancredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Dércio Leitão made a precise shot to the right of Mauricio Naldo. San Lorenzo fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Ren Zhi Ke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 34 minutes, Edgard Sindo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the San Lorenzo fc and the Kaplan players grew even worse after the yellow card. Saverio Raphael blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emilian Martinez having to make a save. Mauricio Naldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Cordarrol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute Luciano Victoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Naldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The San Lorenzo fc players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kaplan were winning 0-2.

In the 54th minute, Ren Zhi Ke made a precise shot to the right of Mauricio Naldo. San Lorenzo fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 58th minute, Kaplan's Alvaro Cordarrol ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mauricio Naldo. Mauricio Naldo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. In the 61st match minute, San Lorenzo fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Tancredo to maneuver through the defense. Emilian Martinez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Otoniel in the 64th minute of play. After 65 played minutes San Lorenzo fc got a freekick which was hit by Amadeo Cambranes. Alvaro Cordarrol struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Mauricio Naldo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kaplan. Alvaro Cordarrol scored 0-5 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mauricio Naldo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mauricio Naldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Cordarrol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ren Zhi Ke came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mauricio Naldo could save by the left post. In the 87th minute, Luciano Victoro fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Mauricio Naldo, passed just outside the right post. Mauricio Naldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alvaro Cordarrol in the 89th minute. When Gavino Faron fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Lorenzo fc's protests and gave Gavino Faron a yellow card for diving instead. Gavino Faron hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Kaplan's Dércio Leitão got a free kick in the 91st minute. Mauricio Naldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Victoro, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Alvaro Cordarrol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over Kaplan could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than San Lorenzo fc throughout the match.
