I.'s goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Q. T. I.'s Alirio Ducoing got control of the ball when Godfredo Gau tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Volvio Moreno's goalkeeper Manuel Loren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Manuel Loren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anibal Lluques in the 20th minute of the match. Q. T. I. were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Volvio Moreno's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Julian Raymundo took the corner. Haroldo Montrel made a great header on Q. T. I.'s corner, it was just that Volvio Moreno's Manuel Loren managed to reach the ball for a save. Volvio Moreno's Silverio Barrionuevo got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alirio Ducoing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Carlos Porto, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Manuel Loren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Raymundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Q. T. I. defense, João Carlos Porto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alirio Ducoing. The Q. T. I. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alirio Ducoing should have stopped the shot. 32 minutes into the match, Silverio Barrionuevo notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Q. T. I.'s Alirio Ducoing. Alirio Ducoing was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 37 minutes into the match, Volvio Moreno's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Henrico came free, but Manuel Loren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Q. T. I.'s attentive Horacio Dolfo managed to snatch the ball when Santiago Jacindo made a throw-in in the 38th minute of the game. In the 41st minute Q. T. I. were awarded a corner. Santiago Jacindo made in the 43rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Godfredo Gau immediately put the ball in play. 44 minutes into the match, Q. T. I.'s goal looked a bit too open when Godfredo Gau came free, but Alirio Ducoing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Anibal Lluques made the kick off in the second half. Jonas Henrico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Manuel Loren made a huge save. Anibal Lluques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Manuel Loren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. I. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Montrel didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Volvio Moreno players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
