An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Raymundo in the 3rd minute of play forced San Lorenzo fc's goalkeeper Mauricio Naldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute, Niceto Xacintu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mauricio Naldo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 15 minutes into the game, Flying Dutch's Higinio Raymundo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mauricio Naldo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 18th minute, Fabian Ivașcu made a precise shot to the right of Mauricio Naldo. San Lorenzo fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 20 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo fc's goal looked a bit too open when Niceto Xacintu came free, but Mauricio Naldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauricio Naldo came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Flying Dutch's Fabian Ivașcu. But to his dismay, Fabian Ivașcu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Mauricio Naldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higinio Raymundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mauricio Naldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Ivașcu in the 28th minute of the match. San Lorenzo fc's Mauricio Naldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cido de Medeiros in the 39th minute of play. Mauricio Naldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higinio Raymundo in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, Flying Dutch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cido de Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. Fabio Tancredo hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Rodrigo Feo kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, João Adolfo Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flying Dutch's supporters rose to their feet, but João Adolfo Cruz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauricio Naldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 60th minute of the match, Niceto Xacintu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mauricio Naldo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Niceto Xacintu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd match minute, San Lorenzo fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejandro Vargas to maneuver through the defense. Niceto Xacintu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Mauricio Naldo made a huge save. San Lorenzo fc's Mauricio Naldo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save San Lorenzo fc from getting a goal against them. If Higinio Raymundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Flying Dutch getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Cido de Medeiros hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the match, Flying Dutch's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Tancredo came free, but Josue Barro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Fabian Ivașcu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mauricio Naldo, 0-5. Mauricio Naldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higinio Raymundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eurico Batista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Naldo having to interfere. Mauricio Naldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eurico Batista in the 97th minute. Flying Dutch's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
