In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tirense F.C.'s goalkeeper Washington de Lara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, BK Tåfjutt's Karol Magdziarz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Washington de Lara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dante Pero was shown his second yellow card after 93 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 94 played minutes Tirense F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Dante Pero. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The BK Tåfjutt fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tirense F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
