Capitan Beto's Epifanio Eleazar got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Epifanio Eleazar in the 13th minute of play forced FLA MQ BRASIL's goalkeeper Gabriel Albuquerque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Capitan Beto's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fabiano Freire came free, but Elvio Opilano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Epifanio Eleazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute Luís Fabiano Freire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvio Opilano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Elorri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Gabriel Albuquerque tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elvio Opilano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelinho Perez in the 38th minute of the match. When Saverio Karlo fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Capitan Beto's protests and gave Saverio Karlo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Capitan Beto getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Saverio Karlo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giuseppe Castro in the 46th minute of play forced Capitan Beto's goalkeeper Elvio Opilano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laureano Giraldo's late challenge caught a FLA MQ BRASIL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Laureano Giraldo helped the player get up and apologised. After 46 played minutes Capitan Beto got a freekick which was hit by Laureano Giraldo. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Ivan Elorri made the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Capitan Beto got a freekick which was hit by Saverio Karlo. Ivan Elorri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gabriel Albuquerque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cleto Lorencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in FLA MQ BRASIL fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! FLA MQ BRASIL:s Gabriel Albuquerque showed great skill when he stopped Orlando Elivareo:s penalty. Elvio Opilano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedito Diniz in the 85th minute of the match. 98 minutes into the match, Luís Fabiano Freire notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Capitan Beto's Elvio Opilano. Elvio Opilano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Capitan Beto's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
