Germano Bettencourt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zacharias Siatzis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Roberto Eztebe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

the xeneise dream team made a substitution. Domingos Camerino replaced Isaac Sundberg. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Habil Castolo made a kick off. 54 minutes into the game, AFC FUSION's Germano Bettencourt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vinicio Aires made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 59th minute the xeneise dream team were awarded a corner. Genaro Farias went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on the xeneise dream team's corner Zacharias Siatzis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Roberto Eztebe quite easily take care of the ball. Paolo Eutor struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Roberto Eztebe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for the xeneise dream team. Paolo Eutor had several of the AFC FUSION's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 69 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Roberto Eztebe as he didn't even see the shot coming. AFC FUSION's Christoff Stocks was substituted for Guido Txindoki. Roberto Eztebe made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Habil Castolo sent off a good shot on target. After 76 played minutes AFC FUSION got a freekick which was hit by Dawid Beckham. 78 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Habil Castolo. In the 82nd minute Paolo Eutor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Eztebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roberto Eztebe made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Habil Castolo sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of AFC FUSION booed when the xeneise dream team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roque Mercurio didn't get a good kick on the ball. the xeneise dream team's Aquiles Mikolas was substituted for Habil Castolo. Roque Mercurio hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aquiles Mikolas got free with Roberto Eztebe in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The the xeneise dream team supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing the xeneise dream team would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
