Conrado Pernambucano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Wawrzyniec Charamut. De Boedo Vengo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 5th match minute, De Boedo Vengo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Pedro to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vicente Arano in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilvan Sanches saved Green Squad FC from getting behind. De Boedo Vengo's Wawrzyniec Charamut proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save De Boedo Vengo from getting a goal against them. Wawrzyniec Charamut made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Jessie Pinkman sent off a good shot on target. Green Squad FC's Conrado Pernambucano shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 23rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Wawrzyniec Charamut but with some difficulty. When Abelardo Felipo fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored De Boedo Vengo's protests and gave Abelardo Felipo a yellow card for diving instead. Lisandro Roderigo hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Wawrzyniec Charamut made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jessie Pinkman in the 27th minute. In the 35th minute, Vicente Arano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilvan Sanches was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Paul Gheară might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilvan Sanches. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paul Gheară ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 40th minute of the match Lisandro Roderigo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gilvan Sanches showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gilvan Sanches showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Arano, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind De Boedo Vengo's goalkeeper Wawrzyniec Charamut, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wawrzyniec Charamut made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Jessie Pinkman sent off a good shot on target. Conrado Pernambucano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wawrzyniec Charamut read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The supporters of Green Squad FC booed when De Boedo Vengo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Gheară didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilvan Sanches stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vicente Arano's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Gilvan Sanches made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paul Gheară in the 56th minute. In the 57th match minute, Green Squad FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeu Cosme to maneuver through the defense. When Ulisses Antunes fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. A collision led to Green Squad FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Conrado Pernambucano hit a great ball. 64 minutes into the game, Gonçalo Maia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Wawrzyniec Charamut was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 67 minutes into the match, Green Squad FC's goalkeeper Gilvan Sanches had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vicente Arano. Ulisses Antunes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wawrzyniec Charamut read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Wawrzyniec Charamut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeu Cosme in the 73rd minute of the match. 76 minutes into the game, De Boedo Vengo's Vicente Arano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gilvan Sanches made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Gilvan Sanches made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vicente Arano in the 84th minute.
