Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) El Salvador's Moises Fernandino started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurtuluş Tuğcu in the 17th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Gaita´s club booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joshua Curbelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, El Salvador's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Freddy Solustiano fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Lorenzo Yepes charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lorenzo Yepes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Lorenzo Yepes hit a great ball. Gaita´s club's Jaime Cortez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Fernandino in the 26th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abram Luque during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 30 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Abram Luque. In the 33rd minute, Gaita´s club's Osvaldo Asteri ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save El Salvador from getting a goal against them. Ricardo Zorita made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Osvaldo Asteri sent off a good shot on target. Osvaldo Asteris short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Ricardo Zorita to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurtuluş Tuğcu in the 42nd minute of play. Valentino Ferrant hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in El Salvador fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 44th minute. Penalty! Kurtuluş Tuğcu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

After some careless play in the El Salvador defense, Kurtuluş Tuğcu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. The El Salvador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Zorita should have stopped the shot. 55 minutes into the game, Gaita´s club's Delmiro Xabel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Zorita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. After 59 minutes of play, Gaita´s club's Osvaldo Asteri made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Zorita was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 63rd minute, Manuel Jaunzuria ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Zorita was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Gaita´s club's Manuel Jaunzuria suffered a sore foot after 67 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Joshua Curbelo charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joshua Curbelo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gaita´s club made a substitution. Marcial Argenis replaced Manuel Jaunzuria. In the 68th minute, Joshua Curbelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Asteri in the 72nd minute of play. Osvaldo Asteri took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. Osvaldo Asteri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Delmiro Xabel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Valentino Ferrant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 10-0 when Osvaldo Asteri sped through El Salvador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. In the 91st minute, Marcial Argenis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gaita´s club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. Gaita´s club's Vladimiro Azubeli was substituted for Delmiro Xabel. When Abram Luque was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 96 minutes had been played. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Abram Luque hit a great ball.
