Ermegildo Giro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. FC Ferrauda's Kajetan Ochabski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 18th minute of play. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. Kajetan Ochabski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 25th minute of the match. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kajetan Ochabski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. FC Ferrauda's Kajetan Ochabski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 31st minute of play. Ermegildo Giro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Paul West, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Ermegildo Giro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Pedro Manzanares when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 46th minute, Orlando Tafalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Manzanares was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Ermegildo Giro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ermegildo Giro really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abram Sarmiento was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Giro came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Ermegildo Giro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Ferrauda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. 81 minutes into the match, FC Ferrauda's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Secada came free, but Kajetan Ochabski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
