Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihály Fülep in the 6th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mihály Fülep in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. Mihály Fülep received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benito Sanz came out and tried to block the shot, but Mihály Fülep slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 13th minute. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Mihály Fülep sent off a good shot on target. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mihály Fülep went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihály Fülep, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mihály Fülep's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Augusto Fliz could shoot a difficult shot in the 31st minute, which Benito Sanz however easily saved by the left post. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihály Fülep in the 33rd minute of play. Mihály Fülep scored 4-0 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Augusto Fliz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benito Sanz came out and tried to block the shot, but Augusto Fliz slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 39th minute. Mihály Fülep sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihály Fülep in the 42nd minute of play. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Augusto Fliz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mihály Fülep blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Augusto Fliz was the one to do the kick off. Mihály Fülep might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mihály Fülep ran back to his position shaking his head. 51 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Mihály Fülep came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rdth minute of the game Mihály Fülep who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Augusto Fliz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 56 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Abel Carballo. O rey Iván's Pastor Martxot was substituted for Dionisio Orland. After 57 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Abel Carballo. In the 58th minute of the match Ivan Lizar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz skillfully saved the ball. Ivan Lizar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Lizar, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Efrain Moruga during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 61st match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Moruga to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 62 minutes, Ivan Lizar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. O rey Iván's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivan Lizar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ivan Lizar went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Ivan Lizar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. After 74 minutes of play, O rey Iván's Ivan Lizar made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benito Sanz didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when O rey Iván's Ivan Lizar shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 8-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Lautaro Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Aristides Barea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The O rey Iván fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when O rey Iván's Ivan Lizar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Augusto Fliz struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for O rey Iván. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. O rey Iván fully deserved thier win.
