Dibag Martinez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 16th minute of play. La Pantera Azulgrana's Dibag Martinez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 23rd minute of play. Leonardo Leoz made in the 44th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by La Pantera Azulgrana's Niceto Burni. Mexico's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Ahmet Sefer scored to the left of an out of position Dante Lacasa, making the score, 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off.
