Tomas Illescas in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of João Francisco Porto, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 59 minutes into the match, Crisólia FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but João Francisco Porto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Guillermo Mariano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the match, Crisólia FBPA's goalkeeper João Francisco Porto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but João Francisco Porto made a huge save. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Crisólia FBPA's goalkeeper João Francisco Porto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Juan Matorin was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 70 minutes had been played. Juan Matorin kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of João Francisco Porto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 75th match minute, Crisólia FBPA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Túlio Damião to maneuver through the defense. João Francisco Porto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 77th minute. A well done corner resulted in Salvador Gisbert drilling the ball in to score 0-3 behind Crisólia FBPA's goalkeeper. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 86 played minutes Crisólia FBPA got a freekick which was hit by Túlio Damião. Alex Chicote hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. 91 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. João Francisco Porto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. After some careless play in the Crisólia FBPA defense, Tomas Illescas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Francisco Porto. The Crisólia FBPA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Francisco Porto should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle sounded Venezuela left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Crisólia FBPA.
