Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hannan Hamdani in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Segundo Rencio sent off a good shot on target. Family siempre's Hannan Hamdani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 35th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Cristian Sancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hannan Hamdani was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Daniel Zorita scored 1-2 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hannan Hamdani, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Hannan Hamdani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Luis Andino fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hannan Hamdani quite easily take care of the ball. Segundo Rencio kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Ecuador's Luis Andino got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Family siempre.
