After a rather tough play, I Dont CopyXML Tactics's Erasmo de Andrade got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 4th minute of the match Joel Gaona shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Santo Marcos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 9th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Macos Graciani to maneuver through the defense. Macos Graciani got a throw-in 13 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Luca Zorita. The supporters of I Dont CopyXML Tactics booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Macos Graciani didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, I Dont CopyXML Tactics's Jelle Meijeringh dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mario Steinmetz got free with Dante Lacasa in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. I Dont CopyXML Tactics's Fernando Novaes quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Leonardo Leoz, made in the 24th minute of the game. I Dont CopyXML Tactics's Santo Marcos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 25th minute of play. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Alberto Tafalla, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 31 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Santo Marcos was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. I Dont CopyXML Tactics's attentive Fernando Novaes managed to snatch the ball when Leonardo Leoz made a throw-in in the 34th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 36th minute of play forced I Dont CopyXML Tactics's goalkeeper Santo Marcos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mario Steinmetz made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Steinmetz came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, Leonardo Leoz threw the ball into play from the sideline. I Dont CopyXML Tactics's Fernando Novaes quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 57th match minute, I Dont CopyXML Tactics was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Novaes to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute, Alberto Tafalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santo Marcos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Jelle Meijeringh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to I Dont CopyXML Tactics getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Jelle Meijeringh hit a great ball. A throw-in in the 81st minute of the game was made by Leonardo Leoz with Lautaro Mancebo as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Mexico players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
