Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Vu having to interfere. GFG VOEL's Michel Vu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 10th minute of play forced GFG VOEL's goalkeeper Michel Vu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Michel Vu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Michel Vu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Michel Vu. GFG VOEL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, GFG VOEL's Therkil Baumquist got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Therkil Baumquist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michel Vu. GFG VOEL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. GFG VOEL's Michel Vu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 34th minute of play. In the 34th minute, Felix Montenegro made a precise shot to the right of Michel Vu. GFG VOEL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Boje Vallebo charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michel Vu. Michel Vu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. Michel Vu was a little too slow when Luis Andino got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 0-10. Michel Vu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 70th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Michel Vu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-11. Michel Vu came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-12. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michel Vu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Michel Vu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 97th minute. Bo Solden charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bo Solden the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than GFG VOEL.
