The supporters of Coritiba Foot Ball Club booed when Les Pionniers de Touraine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Les Pionniers de Touraine's Valentin Bouet got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Les Pionniers de Touraine's Dilan Mazoyer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Godoi in the 93rd minute of play.

After the break the players went out on the field to play the first half of overtime with revived energy in their legs.
