Bart Verbruggen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saverio Lehior, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcel Jeuring received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Rene Rios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 6 minutes into the game, Inocencio Laurgain was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Decathlon Dudes the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andreas Oorthuis in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rene Rios prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Roderick van der Gouw hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the match, Decathlon Dudes's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Corderall came free, but Bart Verbruggen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Jeuring in the 15th minute of play forced ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫'s goalkeeper Rene Rios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Marcel Jeuring had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫'s zone, Andreas Oorthuis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rene Rios came out of the goal and Andreas Oorthuis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andreas Oorthuis kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 29th minute Angelillo Di Maria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bart Verbruggen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute Andreas Oorthuis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Rios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Marcel Jeuring had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 32 minutes, Roderick van der Gouw mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Decathlon Dudes and the ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Roderick van der Gouw hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the game, Arnaldo Corderall cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Bart Verbruggen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Otto Olfers hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcel Jeuring to make the kick off. Rene Rios came out of the goal in the 50th minute to try and stop a shot by Decathlon Dudes's Marcel Jeuring. But to his dismay, Marcel Jeuring quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 53 played minutes Decathlon Dudes got a freekick which was hit by Guus Terpstra. Bart Schild charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bart Schild the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Decathlon Dudes's Bart Schild got a free kick in the 55th minute. Rene Rios took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Deinse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rene Rios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Deinse in the 67th minute of the match. Decathlon Dudes's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Roderick van der Gouw in the 69th minute. The corner led Decathlon Dudes's Roderick van der Gouw to fire away a dangerous shot which Rene Rios despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫'s Arnaldo Corderall slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bart Verbruggen. That made the score 2-2 after 73 minutes of play. 81 minutes into the game, Decathlon Dudes's Alex Deinse nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rene Rios made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. After 83 played minutes ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫ got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Porfiro. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Andreas Oorthuis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Decathlon Dudes's supporters rose to their feet, but Andreas Oorthuis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rene Rios breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Decathlon Dudes had won after a very even match.
