Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) JET-M's Ivan Haglund started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Di Stéfano in the 9th minute of play. JET-M's Nikifor Vekov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. JET-M's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that JET-M's Nikifor Vekov managed to reach the ball for a save. Nikifor Vekov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 12th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of JET-M's Nikifor Vekov. Nikifor Vekov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 27 minutes into the match, JET-M's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Nikifor Vekov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Haglund in the 29th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Nikifor Vekov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Di Stéfano came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bozhko Staevski was slow to take the kick. During this time JET-M's players had a chance to rest. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Nikifor Vekov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by JET-M's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Ivan Haglund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Ivan Haglund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. JET-M's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of JET-M's goalie and right to Felix Montes. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. JET-M's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The audience was convinced that Ivan Haglund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. In the 94th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Zorita to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Primitivo Andino got a free kick in the 95th minute. Bozhko Staevski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julio Vera. Ecuador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
