Miroslaw Gollob took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jurand Cempa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miroslaw Gollob saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita succeeded in the game's 14th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Miroslaw Gollob stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. 28 minutes into the match, Zacisze Częstochowa's Jurand Cempa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 29th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miroslaw Gollob saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miroslaw Gollob took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miroslaw Gollob read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jurand Cempa in the 38th minute of play. Jurand Cempas short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Jurand Cempa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jurand Cempa in the 51st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jurand Cempa, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jurand Cempa in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Zacisze Częstochowa's Maksymilian Drapinski got a free kick in the 59th minute. A collision led to Zacisze Częstochowa getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Maksymilian Drapinski hit a great ball. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Zorita spun around in front of the goal 65 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Zacisze Częstochowa's goal. When Jurand Cempa came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Zacisze Częstochowa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jurand Cempa couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Miroslaw Gollob in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 76 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Jurand Cempa came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zacisze Częstochowa's Leszek Zagrobelny was substituted for Maksymilian Drapinski. The supporters of Zacisze Częstochowa booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cristo Verdu was slow to take the kick. During this time Zacisze Częstochowa's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Jurand Cempa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 94th minute of the match Zacisze Częstochowa got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cristo Verdu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cristo Verdu made a great header on Zacisze Częstochowa's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Zacisze Częstochowa.
