The crowd rose to their feet as Luis Andino kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ege Vecih. That made the score 0-2 in the 53 minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Donny Slot came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador played a much better game than AC Pitt Bier and deserved their victory. The AC Pitt Bier players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
