Omar Conrao didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 9th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Omar Conrao was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Felix Montenegro made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Domínguez AFC's Omar Conrao managed to reach the ball for a save. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Omar Conrao tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Omar Conrao came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Felix Montenegro. But to his dismay, Felix Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 24th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Conrao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Omar Conrao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After 36 minutes, Baldomiro Senio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Domínguez AFC and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Baldomiro Senio hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Omar Conrao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kiur Erik during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Domínguez AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven-Ove Colin got free with Julio Vera in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Domínguez AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-3.

With his leg Omar Conrao managed to avoid a goal in the 51stth minute, when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Domínguez AFC's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Omar Conrao came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Omar Conrao however easily saved by the left post. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Omar Conrao read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Omar Conrao had great luck who in the 62ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Cristian Sancho from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After 64 minutes, Lorenzo Pes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Domínguez AFC and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Tino in the 71st minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Domínguez AFC's goalkeeper Omar Conrao had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. 74 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Omar Conrao, 0-4. Ecuador's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After 87 minutes of play, Ecuador's Luis Andino made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Omar Conrao was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fidel Gaitano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
