In the 25th minute of the match Panama got a corner. FC Barrera 2.0's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abraham Alguacil ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tomas Berganza succeeded in the game's 27th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-5. In the 29th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Cambeiro to maneuver through the defense. The Panama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. In the 39th minute, Alex Cambeiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Virgílio Montenegro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Isidoro Sarmiento scored 0-8 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Virgílio Montenegro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-8.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Berganza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abraham Alguacil during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The FC Barrera 2.0 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Panama were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
