Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Andor Szepesvári started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Andor Szepesvári could shoot a difficult shot in the 2nd minute, which Julio Vera however easily saved by the left post. 4 minutes into the match, ZLA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Esteve Naranjo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 5th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ágoston Benedek hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind ZLA FC's goalkeeper Esteve Naranjo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. ZLA FC's Esteve Naranjo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 14th minute of play. After taking down the ball on ZLA FC's corner Ágoston Benedek fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ágoston Benedek. In the 23rd match minute, ZLA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miklós Bernáth to maneuver through the defense. Esteve Naranjo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 29th minute of the match. When Anestis Dimitriou came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the ZLA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anestis Dimitriou couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Ágoston Benedek tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Zorita scored 1-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Esteve Naranjo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Esteve Naranjo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 59th minute. Esteve Naranjo made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 72nd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. ZLA FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that ZLA FC's Esteve Naranjo managed to reach the ball for a save. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Ecuador were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing ZLA FC to leave the ground with a draw.
