Mikolaj Szotek came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by CSD Concepción's Sebastian Felin. But to his dismay, Sebastian Felin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 21stth minute of the game Sang Gama who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CSD Concepción's Emanuel Podgoreanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Emanuel Podgoreanu managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Lekko Spoceni's Sang Gama fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 32 minutes into the match, CSD Concepción's goal looked a bit too open when Sang Gama came free, but Emanuel Podgoreanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sang Gama got free with Emanuel Podgoreanu in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Serafín Jarpa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 41st minute, Sebastian Felin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CSD Concepción fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Emanuel Podgoreanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Ibañez in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sang Gama stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Lekko Spoceni getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Shaun Allison hit a great ball. Emanuel Podgoreanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sang Gama, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in CSD Concepción's zone, Sang Gama stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Podgoreanu came out of the goal and Sang Gama tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. CSD Concepción made a substitution. Manuel Antonio Amenábar replaced Sebastian Felin. Mikolaj Szotek made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Manuel Antonio Amenábar sent off a good shot on target. Lekko Spoceni's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Manuel Antonio Amenábar scored to the left of an out of position Mikolaj Szotek, making the score, 1-3. 73 minutes into the match, Lekko Spoceni's goalkeeper Mikolaj Szotek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damazy Warka. Mikolaj Szotek was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Manuel Antonio Amenábar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Manuel Antonio Amenábar really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Lekko Spoceni's Marc-André Van Bastén was substituted for Sang Gama. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Mikolaj Szotek successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Lekko Spoceni's Mikolaj Szotek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Antonio Amenábar in the 86th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, CSD Concepción's Manuel Antonio Amenábar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mikolaj Szotek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mikolaj Szotek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júnior Fernandes in the 89th minute of play. Emanuel Podgoreanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marc-André Van Bastén in the 92nd minute of play. Lekko Spoceni's Mikolaj Szotek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Lekko Spoceni from getting a goal against them. After 96 played minutes CSD Concepción got a freekick which was hit by Manolito Macías.
