With a little luck, USA's Marco Day got control of the ball when Bruno Capello tried to sneak it across the goal line. Agustín Rossi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Mcdonald in the 22nd minute of the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arsenio Perutxo was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Wiliam Tepedino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Trip's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wiliam Tepedino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Perutxo in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute Arsenio Perutxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Los Trip's Cipriano Castro was substituted for Wiliam Tepedino. USA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cassius Byrne in the 64th minute. Los Trip's Agustín Rossi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Los Trip from getting a goal against them. 71 minutes into the match, Monty Rogers notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Los Trip's Agustín Rossi. Agustín Rossi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. Los Trip's Agustín Rossi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Los Trip from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 78th minute of play forced Los Trip's goalkeeper Agustín Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agustín Rossi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sam Campbell in the 80th minute of the match. Luís Fernando Calderón De La Barca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. Agustín Rossi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fernando Calderón De La Barca came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
