The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tobias Cerqueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Haiti's zone, Tobias Cerqueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noel Seide came out of the goal and Tobias Cerqueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 12 minutes into the match, Tobias Cerqueira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Noel Seide, 1-0. Jonathan Alphonse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Abílio Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Dorval's late challenge caught a Cassandros Elite Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Dorval helped the player get up and apologised. Felix Dorval kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 20th minute of the match, Filinto Santarém got a very nice opportunity to score, but Noel Seide was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ivan Veiga's late challenge caught a Haiti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivan Veiga helped the player get up and apologised. Abílio Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernso Constant in the 24th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Cassandros Elite Team's Mauro Neves got a free kick in the 25th minute. Abílio Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Alphonse, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Filinto Santarém notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Haiti's Noel Seide. Noel Seide was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonathan Alphonse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abílio Abreu having to interfere. 39 minutes into the game, Gesner Philippe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Haiti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cassandros Elite Team the free kick. A collision led to Haiti getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Gesner Philippe hit a great ball. Jean Claude Ulysse lost his temper 41 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The supporters of Cassandros Elite Team booed when Haiti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean Claude Ulysse didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th match minute, Haiti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raymond Louis to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Cassandros Elite Team's Ramiro Moura got a free kick in the 48th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tobias Cerqueira made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Haiti's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Cerqueira came free, but Noel Seide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cassandros Elite Team's Mauro Neves got a free kick in the 65th minute. Noel Seide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filinto Santarém in the 68th minute of play. After some careless play in the Haiti defense, Tobias Cerqueira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Noel Seide. The Haiti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Noel Seide should have stopped the shot. Tobias Cerqueira took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Noel Seide. Noel Seide dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. If Filinto Santarém had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Filinto Santarém managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cassandros Elite Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Filinto Santarém was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Noel Seide breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Cassandros Elite Team getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Ramiro Moura hit a great ball. After 96 played minutes Cassandros Elite Team got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Moura. There was no doubt that Cassandros Elite Team were the better team. Cassandros Elite Team's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
