Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) In the 7th match minute, Vilma Palma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amancio Su to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Luo Zhen Chang came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 15 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedykt Pawelczyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After 22 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marcelo Huly who took care of the corner kick. Marcelo Huly made a great header on Vilma Palma's corner, it was just that Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant managed to reach the ball for a save. Vilma Palma were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcelo Huly took the corner. The corner ended in Luo Zhen Chang almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Higinio Gaitan sent off a good shot on target. When Higinio Gaitan came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Vilma Palma fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Higinio Gaitan couldn't finish the play. In the 36th minute, Vilma Palma's Luo Zhen Chang ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 39 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Higinio Gaitan. Leopoldo Henrico blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronaldão Penha saved Vilma Palma from getting behind. In the 45th match minute, Vilma Palma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paolo Gartzi to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Ronaldão Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 51st minute of play. Venezuela's Alex Chicote quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Amancio Su, made in the 54th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Gaitan in the 57th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Herensuge kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Gaitan came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Ronaldão Penha in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ronaldão Penha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Higinio Gaitan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mats Nyman in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Despite being the better team, Vilma Palma failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
