Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Iago Aspas took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 9th minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Steiger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th match minute, Pirsus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillaume Izzo to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Pirsus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Percy Ziegler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Rubio charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juan Rubio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Juan Rubio hit a great ball. Hugo Ferrant made in the 21st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Pirsus's Donald Niens. When Giuliano Spiller came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Pirsus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giuliano Spiller couldn't finish the play. In the 26th match minute, Pirsus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donald Niens to maneuver through the defense. When Donald Niens fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pirsus's protests and gave Donald Niens a yellow card for diving instead. Dan Steiger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Lautaro Puig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iago Aspas in the 41st minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Iago Aspas sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. Pirsus's Dan Steiger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Pirsus from getting a goal against them. In the 59th minute Eliseo Noboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Steiger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Costa Rica's attack was well implemented in the 59th minute, but when Eliseo Noboa was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Pirsus's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Eliseo Noboa scored to the left of an out of position Dan Steiger, making the score, 1-1. Axel Tasis kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. When Hugo Ferrant fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
