Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Iago Aspas kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Pirsus booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Iago Aspas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Sanz. That made the score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. Iago Aspas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute Iago Aspas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Giuliano Spiller cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Tasis in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dan Steiger saved Pirsus from getting behind. Dan Steiger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Tasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 39th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Noboa to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute, Pirsus's Iago Aspas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Axel Tasis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Carballo to maneuver through the defense. Hugo Ferrant's late challenge caught a Pirsus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hugo Ferrant helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of Costa Rica:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pirsus:s goal. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iago Aspas in the 62nd minute of the match. After 67 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Axel Tasis. 68 minutes into the game, Giuliano Spiller cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Iago Aspas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Percy Ziegler in the 84th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dan Steiger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Puig in the 90th minute. Dan Steiger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Noboa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the game, Jonathan Helleren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pirsus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Costa Rica the free kick. In the 93rd minute, Jonathan Helleren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Percy Ziegler in the 96th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pirsus fully deserved thier win.
