The crowd rose to their feet as Michel Santos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Demonde Jacobson. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. With his leg Demonde Jacobson managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when APOELHELLAS's Michel Santos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Demonde Jacobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Santos in the 15th minute of play. If Michel Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Jamaica from getting a goal against them. Michel Santos might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Demonde Jacobson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Michel Santos ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 21st minute of the match, Michel Santos got a very nice opportunity to score, but Demonde Jacobson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 23 minutes in the game, Michel Santos fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Demonde Jacobson having to interfere. The supporters of APOELHELLAS booed when Jamaica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wayan Freeman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michel Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Michel Santos might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Demonde Jacobson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Michel Santos ran back to his position shaking his head. If Michel Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michel Santos got free with Demonde Jacobson in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 37 minutes, Michel Santos made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson got control of the ball when Michel Santos tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Michel Santos sped through Jamaica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Demonde Jacobson.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Finlay Stair made a kick off. In the 50th match minute, APOELHELLAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michel Santos to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Michel Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot. APOELHELLAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Michel Santos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Demonde Jacobson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Michel Santos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Demonde Jacobson having to make a save. 54 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goal looked a bit too open when Michel Santos came free, but Demonde Jacobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Demonde Jacobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Santos in the 58th minute of play. After 61 minutes, Michel Santos made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 64th minute, Leron Sale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michel Santos in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Demonde Jacobson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Demonde Jacobson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Michel Santos's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. The APOELHELLAS fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when APOELHELLAS's Michel Santos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Michel Santos might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Demonde Jacobson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Michel Santos ran back to his position shaking his head. If Michel Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Santos in the 73rd minute of play forced Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michel Santos might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Demonde Jacobson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Michel Santos ran back to his position shaking his head. Demonde Jacobson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michel Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michel Santos might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Demonde Jacobson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Michel Santos ran back to his position shaking his head. After 79 played minutes Jamaica got a freekick which was hit by Kordal Duff. The supporters of APOELHELLAS booed when Jamaica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wayan Freeman didn't get a good kick on the ball. APOELHELLAS made a substitution. Phaiakes Mitsinikos replaced Michel Santos. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Phaiakes Mitsinikos sped through Jamaica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Demonde Jacobson. Jeremias Egoitz hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. APOELHELLAS walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
