Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Mauricio Precioso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 5th match minute, Club Puerto Quito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Huemen to maneuver through the defense. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mauricio Precioso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the match, Club Puerto Quito's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Mauricio Precioso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mauricio Precioso in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Felix Montenegro put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Mauricio Precioso. Mauricio Precioso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mauricio Precioso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mauricio Precioso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 29th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Club Puerto Quito's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Mauricio Precioso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was a well-played corner which Felix Montenegro managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 35 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mauricio Precioso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Mauricio Precioso. Club Puerto Quito's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Puerto Quito's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Rufino Giron blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. With a little luck, Club Puerto Quito's Mauricio Precioso got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 57 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. In the 60th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mauricio Precioso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Daniel Zorita fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 67th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. Luis Andino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mauricio Precioso having to make a save. Agustín Saelices could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Mauricio Precioso made a huge save. 75 minutes into the match, Club Puerto Quito's goalkeeper Mauricio Precioso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Mauricio Precioso made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Felix Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Club Puerto Quito's goalkeeper Mauricio Precioso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Club Puerto Quito's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Daniel Zorita 80 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-5. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Mauricio Precioso made a huge save. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Precioso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 90 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gisbert. Agustín Saelices hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Ecuador played a much better game than Club Puerto Quito and deserved their victory. The Club Puerto Quito players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
