Sebastian Villa kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Edmundo Espiga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Honduras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Patrick Timmermans hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniël Kromme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

After having played for 61 minutes, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Villa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 0-8 when Edmundo Espiga sped through Bierunese's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Daniël Kromme. Edmundo Espiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Daniël Kromme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72ndth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bierunese's Daniël Kromme was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 76th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmundo Espiga to maneuver through the defense. Honduras's Christian Sancho quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Job Zijden, made in the 78th minute of the game. Bierunese's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. Honduras's Sebastian Villa got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
