The corner led Ecuador's Luis Andino to fire away a dangerous shot which Jarl Bredberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andy Robertsson in the 78th minute of the match. FC Blåvitt were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Viktor Kielstedt took the corner. In the 90th minute, Andy Robertsson made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1.
