Benedicto Bihar might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Noboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benedicto Bihar ran back to his position shaking his head. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedicto Bihar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 4th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Batıkan Muhsin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute, Benedicto Bihar made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. A collision led to Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Bernardo Sasso hit a great ball. When Peru's Julian Murillo in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 11 minutes Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Joaquin Prats managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Batıkan Muhsin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 14th minute of play. In the 21st match minute, Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel Méjean to maneuver through the defense. Peru's Luz Tejedor got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Marcel Méjean hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the match, Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Batıkan Muhsin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Batıkan Muhsin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Batıkan Muhsin was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's goalkeeper Batıkan Muhsin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 33 minutes Peru's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bernardo Sasso who took care of the corner kick. Bernardo Sasso made a great header on Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's corner, it was just that Peru's Rolando Noboa managed to reach the ball for a save. After 33 played minutes Bernardo Sasso shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Peru's Rolando Noboa to catch but Bernardo Sasso was lucky. It became 2-0 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. When Benedicto Bihar came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedicto Bihar couldn't finish the play. After 41 minutes of play, Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Benedicto Bihar made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The Peru fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when Peru's Luz Tejedor looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Batıkan Muhsin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Batıkan Muhsin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 57th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Batıkan Muhsin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd match minute, Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Sasso to maneuver through the defense. Milagros Fraga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batıkan Muhsin having to interfere. In the 68th minute Benedicto Bihar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Batıkan Muhsin got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Lorenzo James managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lorenzo James was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolando Noboa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC made a substitution. Vladislav Trúpchev replaced Kurtuluş Senih. Alonso Berganza made in the 76th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Moises Gayoso immediately put the ball in play. 77 minutes into the match, Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Batıkan Muhsin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Noboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benedicto Bihar went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Aykut Canel was substituted for Benedicto Bihar. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Batıkan Muhsin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC from getting a goal against them. Batıkan Muhsin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joaquin Prats went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aykut Canel in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael Gallo got free with Batıkan Muhsin in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Many of Peru's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Peru may have spent more time on the ball, but Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
