The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the game, Bellaghy McJohn was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lamestars's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Curacao the free kick. Bellaghy McJohn hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Bruno Barrett didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 11th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. In the 19th minute, Lamestars's Rolan Crowe ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Healey McVictor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Davies in the 25th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Lochlainn McJohn took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Bruno Barrett to make any attempt to save it. Healey McVictor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stanley Wallace, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 35 minutes into the match, Lamestars's goal looked a bit too open when Rocco Owen came free, but Healey McVictor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jordan Porter kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lochlainn McJohn stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Healey McVictor made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Stanley Wallace sent off a good shot on target. Shane McBrand was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 60 minutes into the match. Shane McBrand hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. A collision led to Curacao getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Kyle Davies hit a great ball. In the 65th match minute, Lamestars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fachtna Hutton to maneuver through the defense. Rolan Crowe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Stanley Wallace fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Healey McVictor having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Rocco Owen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 86 minutes into the match, Stanley Wallace notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Lamestars's Healey McVictor. Healey McVictor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Lochlainn McJohn's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruno Barrett was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. The Lamestars support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
