An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Wincek in the 4th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emil Wincek in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Day saved USA from getting behind. DS ACADEMY TEAM were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after USA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bayındır Mehmet Yezid took the corner. Stefan Marek hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute of the match Cassius Byrne sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kyle Robinson skillfully saved the ball. In the 15th minute, DS ACADEMY TEAM's Emil Wincek dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 20th minute of play forced DS ACADEMY TEAM's goalkeeper Kyle Robinson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Emil Wincek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DS ACADEMY TEAM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Emil Wincek blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marco Day having to make a save. With an all-out effort, DS ACADEMY TEAM's Marco Day threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Emil Wincek, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A throw-in in the 39th minute of the game was made by Diego Bradley with Monty Rogers as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Kyle Robinson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, USA's Diego Bradley got a free kick in the 44th minute. Kyle Robinson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emil Wincek to make the kick off. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Wincek in the 53rd minute of the match. Emil Wincek might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Day. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emil Wincek ran back to his position shaking his head. Kyle Robinson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cassius Byrne in the 59th minute. Cassius Byrne took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kyle Robinson. Kyle Robinson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Emil Wincek might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Day. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emil Wincek ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 63rd minute Emil Wincek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Monty Rogers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diego Bradley got a throw-in 68 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Jenson Smith. 71 minutes into the match, Sam Campbell dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kyle Robinson, 2-2. Kyle Robinson was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Sam Campbell capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sam Campbell really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. In the 85th minute, Emil Wincek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Wincek in the 87th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute of the match DS ACADEMY TEAM got a corner. USA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Maciej Ciemiega ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led DS ACADEMY TEAM's Maciej Ciemiega to fire away a dangerous shot which Marco Day despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 93rd minute Khalid Parry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kyle Robinson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Maciej Ciemiega managed to get in a good position for a shot. DS ACADEMY TEAM's supporters rose to their feet, but Maciej Ciemiega was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
