Jonathan Calixto took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roberto Nunes. Roberto Nunes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Orlando Coria made in the 29th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Dirk Behrens immediately put the ball in play. Jonathan Calixto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roberto Nunes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Jonathan Calixto notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of GuateFortín's Roberto Nunes. Roberto Nunes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ivan Lozano hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After having played for 44 minutes, Jaime Roland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Teodelina FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Roland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Thierry Henry made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of GuateFortín booed when Teodelina FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braulio Osoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teodelina FC's Rosendo Martxelin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Teodelina FC from getting a goal against them. Roberto Nunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Calixto in the 58th minute of play. GuateFortín's Miguel Ángel Benito was substituted for Carlitos Bianchi. Teodelina FC's Marnix Harmannus was substituted for Jonathan Calixto. Teodelina FC made a substitution. Anastasio Perutxo replaced Ezequiel Darien. Teodelina FC made a substitution. GuateFortín's Roberto Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marnix Harmannus in the 70th minute of play. 74 minutes in the game Benjamín Espindola did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Thierry Henry. 77 minutes into the match, Teodelina FC's goalkeeper Rosendo Martxelin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thierry Henry. Marnix Harmannus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rosendo Martxelin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thiago Almada, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After 86 minutes Teodelina FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dirk Behrens who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to Teodelina FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Anastasio Perutxo hit a great ball. In the 89th minute, Elias Pagomari left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GuateFortín fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2.

With new strength the players walked out on the field for the first half of overtime. Marnix Harmannus in Teodelina FC was the one to initiate the kick off. 104 minutes into the match, Elias Pagomari notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Teodelina FC's Rosendo Martxelin. Rosendo Martxelin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. GuateFortín were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Teodelina FC's much stronger midfield.
