In the 10th minute Horia Tătaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gong Ying Zheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 11 played minutes Preator Edikt got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Totakoxe. Gusztáv Bács blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Reine Pettersson having to make a save. 15 minutes into the match, VC zoetwater's goalkeeper Gong Ying Zheng had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stig-Ove Blomqvist. Reine Pettersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Sharkin in the 16th minute of the match. After 16 played minutes Preator Edikt got a freekick which was hit by Gösta Alrot. 18 minutes into the match, İbrahim Efe Akarsu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reine Pettersson. Preator Edikt's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that İbrahim Efe Akarsu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 21 minutes into the match, Preator Edikt's goal looked a bit too open when İbrahim Efe Akarsu came free, but Reine Pettersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reine Pettersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Sharkin, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 22nd minute Bernardo Sharkin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reine Pettersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Sharkin in the 23rd minute of play forced Preator Edikt's goalkeeper Reine Pettersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Preator Edikt's goalkeeper Reine Pettersson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 26 minutes into the match, Preator Edikt's goal looked a bit too open when İbrahim Efe Akarsu came free, but Reine Pettersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reine Pettersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gusztáv Bács, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led to VC zoetwater's İbrahim Efe Akarsu getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Preator Edikt's Reine Pettersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İbrahim Efe Akarsu in the 41st minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, Luís Gustavo Barbosa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Preator Edikt's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VC zoetwater the free kick. Reine Pettersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Sharkin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernardo Sharkin to make the kick off. Bernardo Sharkin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reine Pettersson having to interfere. 53 minutes into the game, Horia Tătaru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Gong Ying Zheng was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Patrik Olsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Reine Pettersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrik Olsson in the 56th minute of the match. The supporters of Preator Edikt booed when VC zoetwater was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tom Van der Veeken didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reine Pettersson came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by VC zoetwater's Bernardo Sharkin. But to his dismay, Bernardo Sharkin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gusztáv Bács in the 68th minute of play forced Preator Edikt's goalkeeper Reine Pettersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers İbrahim Efe Akarsu in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reine Pettersson saved Preator Edikt from getting behind. In the 81st minute, VC zoetwater's Bernardo Sharkin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Reine Pettersson. Reine Pettersson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. Reine Pettersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İbrahim Efe Akarsu in the 87th minute of play. In the 90th match minute, Preator Edikt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Ove Blomqvist to maneuver through the defense.

VC zoetwater played a much better game than Preator Edikt and deserved their victory. The Preator Edikt players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
