Rafa Nadal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermengildo Nesor in the 6th minute of the match. With a little luck, Winthont FC's Dennis Beerthuis got control of the ball when Zhang Bin Hai tried to sneak it across the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Zhang Bin Hai dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dennis Beerthuis, 1-0. In the 17th minute, Hermengildo Nesor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Winthont FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 19th minute Aragorn Ranger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Beerthuis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Gondor FC™'s Aragorn Ranger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dennis Beerthuis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 23rd minute of the match Gondor FC™ got a corner. Winthont FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aragorn Ranger scored 2-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dennis Beerthuis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc van Nistelrooij in the 29th minute of play forced Gondor FC™'s goalkeeper Rafa Nadal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 35 minutes of play, Gondor FC™'s Zhang Bin Hai made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dennis Beerthuis was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 37th minute, Aljo Franković hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gondor FC™'s Rafa Nadal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermengildo Nesor in the 40th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

Gondor FC™'s Aron Mascovescu was substituted for Bertil Åkesson. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marc van Nistelrooij made a kick off. Winthont FC's Dennis Beerthuis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aragorn Ranger in the 58th minute of play. Gondor FC™'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Sixto Gorbea 67 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-4. Despot Pajić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dennis Beerthuis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhang Bin Hai in the 84th minute of play. Rafa Nadal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sixto Gorbea in the 86th minute. Rafa Nadal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sixto Gorbea's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Winthont FC's Igor Fujara quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Aljo Franković, made in the 90th minute of the game. Sixto Gorbea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafa Nadal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Dennis Beerthuis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Despot Pajić in the 93rd minute of play. Marnix Mastebroek kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Sixto Gorbea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafa Nadal having to interfere.

The Gondor FC™ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Winthont FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
